SEC pulls much weight in baseball

The Southeastern Conference has quite a reputation among college baseball observers.

One can add the NCAA Baseball Tournament Selection Committee to that group. Those individuals gave 10 SEC teams at-large bids to the NCAA tourney which opens Friday at 16 sites.

Moreover, SEC regular-season co-champion and tournament champion Tennessee is the No. 1 national seed. Five SEC teams are No. 1 seeds and another five are No. 2 seeds. Florida, the one No.
