LSU battery must be at its best in Chapel Hill

In what is becoming an all-too frequent occurrence, LSU’s baseball team hits the road for a NCAA regional tournament this weekend.

For the fourth time in their last six NCAA tourney appearances, the Tigers will play away from The Box – this time at Chapel Hill (N.C.). LSU is the No. 2 seed behind host team North Carolina.

The Tigers will meet Wofford in a first-round game Friday afternoon. The top-seeded Tar Heels will face Long Island in the other opening-round game.
