2024 LSU football preview: Sophomores

Just two sophomores appear headed to be in the starting lineup when LSU faces USC in the season-opener in less than two weeks.

Ashton Stamps (pictured above will wear No.1 in 2024) and Jordan Allen are projected to be starters at cornerback and safety, respectively. Stamps made four starts as a first-year freshman in 2023. Allen, a redshirt sophomore, has yet to make a start for the Tigers.

Four sophomores, who signed out of high school with LSU, should be rotation players.
