LSU-South Carolina preview and score prediction

South Carolina possesses the better defense in Saturday’s matchup with LSU in Columbia.

In victories over Old Dominion and Kentucky, the Gamecocks allowed only 25 points. Moreover, South Carolina was able to make momentum-creating plays on defense with ten sacks and six takeaways in these two games. 

The Tigers’ defense has been mediocre, at best. In two games against USC and Nicholls State, LSU allowed an average of 24 points and 371 yards.
