The season now starts for LSU

The September portion of the LSU football season came to an end in Tiger Stadium on Saturday night.

For almost the entire first half, LSU looked like a College Football Playoff contender, if not a Southeastern Conference championship game contender.

The Tigers were well on their way to a 42-10 victory over South Alabama with more than four minutes remaining before halftime.
