LAZARE: Everybody contributes in first SEC week

During preseason practice, LSU coach Will Wade emphasized that his team did not have one big-time scorer, but it possessed a number of players who could produce on any given night.

That quality was exhibited in the Tigers’ first week of their Southeastern Conference schedule. LSU started its league schedule with two victories for the first time in three seasons – knocking off Alabama at home and Arkansas in overtime on the road.

With Daryl Edwards sidelined because of a leg injury, Wade now has an eight-man rotation.
