Nick Saban used the term “Catastrophe Syndrome” during his early days as the LSU head football coach almost 25 years ago.

Saban believed that the fan base always felt the sky was falling when something would go awry in the Tigers program. Saban stressed that the process works. The proper process would lead to the desired results.

Saban developed a LSU football program which has won three national championships under three coaches this century.
