Nussmeier stops the bleeding

During LSU’s three-game losing streak, quarterback Garrett Nussmeier drew the brunt of the criticism for a stretch of poor offensive football.

Well, the Tigers ended their three-game slide Saturday night against Vanderbilt and Nussmeier deserves much of the credit for their 24-17 victory.

Nussmeier passed for 332 yards and led LSU to points on four of its eight possessions.
