First real evaluation for LSU women’s team

Three weeks into its pre-Southeastern Conference schedule, the LSU women’s basketball team has an expected 6-0 record.

The Tigers had little difficulty in taking care of six mid-major opponents. Only Murray State and Tulane put up any type of resistance for coach Kim Mulkey’s team.

On Monday afternoon, LSU will take on the first power conference opponent of the season when it meets Washington in a first-round game of the Baha Mar Hoops Classic in the Bahamas.
