LSU will wrap up its 2024 season on New Year’s Eve afternoon at NRG Stadium in Houston.

There is no obvious motivational factor for the Tigers in their matchup with Baylor and their former defensive coordinator Dave Aranda. LSU has clinched a winning season. The Tigers cannot win ten games. There is no national ranking to protect.

There could be a small chance LSU could get a spot in the final Associated Press rankings by defeating the Bears.
