Both LSU basketball teams have areas of concern

Neither Tigers squad should endure much trouble in closing its pre-Southeastern Conference slate on a winning note. However, coaches Kim Mulkey and Matt McMahon do still have some worries one week before the start of league play.

A doubleheader at the PMAC on Sunday will conclude the non-conference schedule for both LSU basketball teams.

The women’s team will play Albany during the afternoon, while the men’s team will play Mississippi Valley State at night. Albany (10-2) participated in the WNIT last March. Mississippi Valley (2-10) lost to Missouri and Texas by a combined 118 points this year.
