Many college football fans believe that teams need to win a bowl game to build momentum for the next season.

Such line of thought does not hold true for LSU this century. The Tigers have lost seven bowl games beginning with the 2000 season. LSU has won at least ten games in all but one of the following campaigns.

The one exception was the 2015 season when the Tigers finished with a 9-3 record.
