Johnson must work on pitching staff

The biggest area of concern for the 2025 LSU baseball team hit home this past weekend in Austin.

Losing two of three games on the road to a top-ten Texas team is not a major issue. The Tigers and Longhorns each won one game rather comfortably. The middle game of the series was tightly contested with Texas pulling out an 11-7 victory.

An improved LSU offense was expected due to the return of a handful of starters and the addition of some experienced transfers.
