The LSU women’s basketball team delivered its best back-to-back performances of the season in the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament.

First, the Tigers crushed No. 14-seed San Diego State 103-48 last Saturday night. Two days later, LSU earned its spot in the Sweet 16 by pounding No. 6-seed Florida State in the second half to record a 101-71 victory.

So, it is off to the regional semifinals in Spokane (Wash.) for coach Kim Mulkey’s Tigers.
