LSU’s Big Three had little help against top opponents

The LSU women basketball team reached its ceiling during the 2024-25 season.

The Tigers were eliminated by UCLA 72-65 in the regional finals Sunday afternoon in Spokane (Wash.). The results of the campaign showed that spot in the NCAA tournament is where LSU’s season should have ended.

The Tigers played four games against teams in this week’s Final Four. LSU lost all four games – two to Texas and one to South Carolina and UCLA.
