Quite a weekend for LSU pitching

The weather conditions in Norman (Ok.) last weekend certainly did not favor the hitters.

The temperatures were cool and strong winds made the wind chill numbers absolutely miserable for baseball.

LSU’s pitching staff took advantage of the situation and carried the team to a sweep of Oklahoma. Coach Jay Johnson used only five pitchers – the Tigers’ five best hurlers – in the three games against the Sooners.
