Transfer portal DT Bernard Gooden to LSU

Brian Kelly and his LSU football coaching staff went into the spring portal period looking to solidify their defensive line room with another addition.

They found him in South Florida’s Bernard Gooden.

The 6-foot-1, 285 pound Gooden finished last season with 35 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks.

He received honorable mention all-AAC honors.

Gooden out of Montgomery, Alabama began his collegiate career at Wake Forest.
