Differing viewpoints as LSU prepares to host NCAA regional

It was made official Sunday night. The Box will once again play host to NCAA tournament baseball.

What once was assumed to be an occurrence every June has no longer been a guarantee for LSU baseball. It is hard to be believe that the Tigers have played host to a regional tournament just twice in the last seven years – 2019 and 2023.

In 2018, LSU played in a regional tournament at Oregon State. There was no NCAA tournament in 2020 due to COVID-19.
