WATCH: LSU Jay Johnson talks Baton Rouge Regional pairings

LSU head baseball coach Jay Johnson spoke with the media after his Tigers learned their regional seed and which teams will be sent to the  Baton Rouge Regional.

The Tigers will open the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional at 2 p.m. CT Friday when they face Little Rock in Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.

No. 2 seed Dallas Baptist will meet No. 3 seed Rhode Island at 6:30 p.m. CT Friday in the second game of the Baton Rouge Regional, and the contest will be streamed on ESPN +.

The regional continues through the weekend, with the winner advancing to the NCAA Super Regional next weekend versus the winner of the Clemson (S.C.) Regional.
