The West Virginia baseball program is nowhere near the level of that of LSU.

The Mountaineers have never appeared at the College World Series. The Tigers can be a CWS participant for the 20th time if they knock off West Virginia in this weekend’s super-regional series at The Box.

However, the Mountaineers have enjoyed success in recent years.

Beginning with the 2018 season, West Virginia has made four NCAA tourney appearances and won two regional titles.
