Pitching duo could lead LSU to CWS title

One season ago, Kade Anderson was learning the ropes as a freshman pitcher at LSU and Anthony Eyanson was pitching out of the spotlight at UC-San Diego.

Now, Anderson and Eyanson hold in their hands the Tigers’ fortunes at the College World Series which will begin Friday. LSU’s first-round game against Arkansas is scheduled for Saturday night in Omaha (Neb.).

There is no doubt the Tigers are participating in their 20th CWS because of Anderson and Eyanson.
