LSU season preview: Ole Miss

Ole Miss quarterback Jordan Ta’amu found himself in a difficult situation last season as he replaced an injured Shea Patterson in the middle of the game against LSU.

Ta’amu played well, but the Rebels dropped a 40-24 decision to the Tigers. That defeat left Ole Miss, which was ineligible for a bowl, with a 3-4 record. The season could have taken a downward trend for the Rebels and interim head coach Matt Luke.

But, Ta’amu sparked a nice run for Ole Miss down the stretch.
