LSU-Clemson preview

There have been very few meetings on the football field between LSU and Clemson.

In fact, Saturday night’s game in Memorial Stadium will be just the fifth between the two teams with the same mascot (Tigers) and the same stadium moniker (Death Valley).

Saturday night’s game will be the first during the regular season and the first on one of the two teams’ campuses. Clemson will visit LSU next year.

So, the four previous games have all taken place in the postseason.
