Anyone coming to Tiger Stadium expecting to observe fireworks in LSU’s home opener against Louisiana Tech was greatly disappointed.

No, the Tigers were always in control against the Bulldogs because of their tenacious defense. However, the offense was rather pedestrian in nature in LSU’s 23-7 victory.

Garrett Nussmeier failed to throw for 250 yards. Tigers wide receivers Zavion Thomas and Barion Brown nearly outrushed the running backs.
