The beginning of the college basketball season is slightly more than one month away.

Both LSU basketball teams have their season openers scheduled during the first week of November at the PMAC.

The women’s basketball team starts its season first – playing host to Houston Christian on Nov. 4. One night later, the men’s basketball team plays its first game against Tarleton State.

The expectations for both teams are the same as they have been in recent years.
