It’s about winning

No one should have expected anything better from an offensive standpoint in LSU’s Southeastern Conference matchup with South Carolina on Saturday night.

The two starting quarterbacks – the Tigers’ Garrett Nussmeier and the Gamecocks’ LaNorris Sellers – had weathered an injury-plagued month of September.

Both LSU and South Carolina relied on their defenses to enter October with winning records. So, a low-scoring game was probably in the offing.
