Even though LSU won the first four games of the season, there were red flags surrounding its offense.
The Tigers struggled to score points in victories over Clemson, Louisiana Tech and Florida. LSU failed to score more than two touchdowns in each of those three games. So, it is not surprising that the Tigers’ record took a dip when they jumped into the Southeastern Conference schedule.
