LSU finishes as SEC’s best-of-the-rest

In less than one week, the bracket will be set for this season’s College Football Playoffs.

One change will occur from last year in determining the 12-team field. Everyone assumed that a Southeastern Conference team which won ten regular-season games would be a participant in the CFP.

The ten-victory standard for SEC teams will not hold this time around.
