Disheartening injury for men’s basketball team

Thanksgiving weekend seemed to be a good time for the LSU men’s basketball team.

The Tigers swept games against Drake and DePaul to win the Emerald Coast Classic in Niceville (Fla.). More importantly, national college basketball analysts began to talk about LSU being a NCAA tournament team.

The 7-0 Tigers were prepared for a big week with games at Boston College in the ACC/SEC Challenge on Wednesday and against Texas Tech at Fort Worth on Sunday.
