Most All-SEC football players were not from transfer portal

This weekend, four Southeastern Conference teams will play their first game in the College Football Playoffs.

Ole Miss will play host to Tulane and Texas A&M will play host to Miami. In an All-SEC clash, Alabama will go to Oklahoma. Georgia, the fifth SEC team in the CFP, has a first-round bye before taking on Ole Miss or Tulane in the quarterfinals at the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans.

Those five teams had 39 players earn All-SEC honors on the coaches’ team.
