LSU has signed Pittsburgh tight end Malachi Thomas.
The 6’4, 240-pound prospect had 13 catches for 192 yards and a pair of touchdowns in 2025.
Thomas was a three-star prospect out of Thomasville, Georgia in High School.
Thomas will have three years to play two at LSU.
He is one of many needed offensive pieces for the Tigers as LSU is down to 12 returning offensive scholarship players.
He will join JD LeFluer and Trey’Dez Green in LSU’s tight end room. LSU also signed JC Anderson in the 2026 class.
He is the third commitment to LSU in this portal cycle.
