One LSU basketball team shows resiliency

One week ago, neither LSU basketball team had won a Southeastern Conference game.

One team responded quite well to adversity.

The Tigers women’s team delivered a pair of victories after two losses to open the league schedule. Coach Kim Mulkey’s squad defeated Georgia by 20-plus points on the road and beat No. 2-ranked Texas at the PMAC.

The men’s team fell behind by 20-plus points in games against South Carolina and Vanderbilt last week.
