LSU has landed a commitment from the no. 1 offensive lineman in the transfer portal, Jordan Seaton.

Seaton immediately gives LSU a greatly needed boost at its biggest position of need after a season plagued by poor offensive line play.

Seaton is the 5th-ranked overall player in the transfer market according to On3. Out of high school he was a uananimous five-star prospect from Washington DC.

Despite missing the last three games of 2025, Seatonearning Second-Team All-Big 12 honors this season. As a true freshman in 2024, he was a Freshman All-American.

Played and started all 13 games during the 2024 season, becoming the first true freshman to start at offensive tackle to start the season opener at Colorado and the first in the Big 12 since Texas’ Kelvin Banks in 2022.

Started the most games as a true freshman in CU history and is only the third player to start every game played in their freshman season. The first two were Greg Henderson in 2011 and Addison Gillam in 2013.

Played the most snaps on the entire offense with 809.

In 612 pass blocking snaps, Seaton only allowed three sacks. Did not allow a sack in 11 of the 13 games and 10 straight from Colorado State through Oklahoma State in teh regular season finale.

Highest graded true freshman offensive tackle in pass protection with at least 100 snaps by PFF with a 75.3. His grade also puts him as the No. 6 true freshman offensive lineman.
