LSU has landed a commitment from one top-100 portal prospect, Ohio State DB Faheem Delane.

He is a top-10 safety in the portal according to the On3 portal rankings.

He is the younger brother of former LSU star Mansoor Delane.

Out of high school, he was the 73rd-ranked recruit in the class of 2025 from Olney, Maryland. He was the 6th-ranked safety.

As a true freshman this season he played in five games and registered 12 tackles for the Buckeyes.

He will have four years to play three moving forward.

Harper is the 35th portal commitment for LSU during the 2026 cycle.
