LSU basketball seconds away from perfect week

It could have been a great week for the LSU basketball teams.

The women’s team rebounded from a slow start to easily defeat Oklahoma on the road in its one game last week. The Tigers have won three games in a row – two over highly-ranked teams – to put themselves back in position for a top four seed in the NCAA tournament.

The men’s team had two chances in the final two seconds to beat Kentucky last week at the PMAC.
