Sophomore class holds key to LSU pitching staff

According to major league baseball scouts, LSU may possess two future high first-round draft selections.

Sophomores Casan Evans and William Schmidt could easily be chosen in the first half of the first round of the 2027 MLB draft. That’s not the draft this summer. So, the Tigers will have these two talented hurlers for not just one, but two more seasons.
