Same story for LSU basketball teams

The 2026 season for LSU’s two basketball teams is writing a similar script.

 

The women’s team lost an 18th consecutive game to Dawn Staley and South Carolina at the PMAC on Saturday night. So, there will be no Southeastern Conference championship. The Tigers will now spend the next three weeks improving their seed for the NCAA tournament.

 

The men’s team lost a pair of games last week to teams who will be participating in the NCAA tournament.
