If LSU’s women’s basketball team ends up having a lengthy run in the upcoming NCAA tournament, everyone can point to the events of last Thursday night at Oxford (Miss.) as a turning point.
Entering the fourth quarter, the Tigers trailed Ole Miss by nine points. LSU did little to reduce its deficit in the first couple of minutes of the period. However, Flau’jae Johnson and MiLaysia Fulwiley then took control of the game.
