Where did this team come from?

Two weekends into the current season, everyone was singing the praises of the LSU baseball team.

The Tigers won their first eight games – including an impressive sweep of Indiana, Notre Dame and UCF in Jacksonville. The offense was putting up big numbers, while the starting pitching improved after a somewhat rocky first three games.

However, everything turned around very quickly a little more than a week ago. McNeese came to The Box and defeated LSU 7-6.
