LSU spring football outlook: defense/specialists

In slightly more than one week, Lane Kiffin will begin his first spring practice as LSU head coach.

Kiffin made the decision to retain Blake Baker as his defensive coordinator. With Baker remaining on the staff, three defensive assistants are also back for another season – ends coach Kevin Peoples, cornerbacks coach Corey Raymond and safeties coach Jake Olsen.

The rebuilding job on defense is not as great as the one on offense. Yes, much work needs to be done on the defensive front.
