LSU will begin its 15 days of spring practice – its first under coach Lane Kiffin – on Tuesday morning.

Three plus-seasons under coach Brian Kelly resulted in no College Football Playoff appearances. In fact, the Tigers have not reached the CFP since winning the national championship in 2019

Even with an expanded 12-team field the last two years, LSU did not claim a playoff spot. For that reason, Kelly is out and Kiffin is in.
