Don’t count out these comeback Tigers

Coming up with an accurate description of the LSU baseball team is a difficult task.

The Tigers’ fielding is below average. Just look at what happened Sunday in the rubber game of their series at Tennessee. LSU fell behind in the third inning when three errors led to five unearned runs.

Both the hitting and the pitching have been inconsistent. The Tigers’ pitching staff had a good weekend against the Volunteers – finishing with a 2.48 earned run average in the series.
