LSU’s Post-Spring Reality: Roster Set, But Questions Remain

Spring football practice at LSU has been completed for more than one week.

The focus of Tigers head coach Lane Kiffin and his staff has shifted to player development during summer workouts.

In his session with members of the media following the conclusion of spring drills, Kiffin wished there was another transfer portal period. Kiffin stressed that areas of the team need a boost in personnel before the beginning of the 2026 season.

However, there is no longer a spring transfer portal.
