Has Mulkey found the missing piece?

LSU women’s basketball coach Kim Mulkey did not face the same rebuilding job as Will Wade, her men’s counterpart.

Wade took over the men’s program with no returning players or no incoming signees. Two weeks into LSU’s summer session, Wade has eight or nine players on the 2026-27 roster.

Mulkey returns six players from last season’s team which advanced to the Sweet 16 before being eliminated by Duke.
