One Southeastern Conference team will be participating in the College World Series Finals, which begins this weekend. 

LSU is not one of those teams as a mediocre 30-28 season meant no NCAA tournament berth.

Tigers coach Jay Johnson has been hard at work since the baseball transfer portal opened June 1. LSU has added five players – four position players and one pitcher.

The numbers put up by these five players are impressive.
