Let’s thank three LSU coaches – Jay Clark, Kim Mulkey and Beth Torina.

Those three individuals run the three most visible women’s sports on the campus – gymnastics, basketball and softball.

All three teams had a winning percentage higher than .667 during the 2025-26 academic year. All three teams reached the NCAA championship event for their sport. The gymnastics team (27-7-1) was the national runner-up to Oklahoma.
