The football calendar has hit a dead period for recruiting.

So, now is an appropriate time to examine how the Southeastern Conference schools are progressing in recruiting their 2027 football class.

Using 247’s composite recruiting rankings of the top 150 players in the country, three former Big XII Conference schools are off to good starts – Texas A&M, Oklahoma and Texas.

The SEC has commitments from 53 of the top 150 players.
