Sankey Caught Between Coaches, Congress and the CFP

The Southeastern Conference Football Media Days commenced Monday morning in Tampa (Fla.).

None of the elite SEC programs – although Oklahoma is making a serious attempt at joining that group – was represented on the first day. The Sooners made their appearance along with Missouri, Kentucky and Tennessee.

Coach Brent Venables has an opportunity of getting Oklahoma into the College Football Playoffs for a second straight season.
