The Weis Factor: Why LSU’s Offense Could Be Anything

Gerry DiNardo told me something over thirty years ago that has always stuck with me. 

“It’s easier to go from four wins to ten wins than it is to go from ten to twelve.” 

The former LSU coach was prophetic.  He inherited a team that had won four games the previous season, and in his second year posted ten victories. 

He never got any closer to twelve.
