There are only two games on LSU’s 2026 schedule where its opponent is not a power conference school.

One of those contests is set for Saturday night when Louisiana Tech visits Tiger Stadium. For the first time in 17 years, LSU will play an in-state opponent in back-to-back years. The Tigers met Tulane in four consecutive seasons from 2006-09. LSU won those four games by an average of 33.5 points.
